Who do you think has shone brightly this year?

It’s time to nominate your colleagues for this year’s Our Stars Awards!
We want to hear more about the individuals and teams who’ve inspired you with their dedication, commitment or outstanding service.
These are your awards, and you’ve got a chance to nominate colleagues from across the public service who you think deserve to be recognised and celebrated for their outstanding contributions.
This includes colleagues working in the parishes and our third sector colleagues.
How to nominate
You can nominate by completing a short online form. You can put forward as many colleagues and teams as you like, and you can nominate them in more than one category.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, 9 June.
We’ll ask you to provide more detail about why you’re nominating your colleague(s) by answering a couple of key questions.
Who can nominate
Any Government of Jersey or States of Jersey employee can nominate.
Please note that we’ll send colleagues details of their nomination, but if you’d like to nominate someone anonymously, there’s an option on the form for you to let us know. However, when you nominate a colleague, we’ll still ask for your details as we’d like to invite you to the event if your nominee is an overall finalist.
Extracts from your nomination may be published. Please let us know if you have any concerns about this.
How nominations will be judged
As with last year there will be a two-stage judging process:
The first round
Departmental judging panels will review all nominations for colleagues in their department and pick their shortlist for each category. Following judging, there’ll be departmental celebration events to recognise all nominees.
The second round
All of the departmental shortlists will go forward for judging for the overall awards. Judging panels for this round will include chairs from each of the departmental judging panels, and they’ll decide the top three and five highly commended in each category.
We’ll announce the overall winners at a sparkling ceremony on Friday, 15 September.
