Student secures Jersey Police placement

We would like to share some wonderful news with you about one of our students, Jay Bealey.

Jay plays an active role within the Highlands College Student Leadership Team and recently met with the Chief of the States of Jersey Police, Robin Smith.

Through this meeting, Jay has secured a one-week work experience placement with the island’s police force. This experience will see Jay shadow Jersey’s Chief of Police and gain valuable time in the force.

Highlands College’s Student Engagement Officer, Aaron Labey says: “We are extremely proud of Jay, who had the confidence to meet with the Chief and begin his journey of becoming a Police Officer. This is a perfect example of an outstanding Student Leader, only in his first year at Highlands.”
