Wellbeing Information Event for Parents
We will be hosting a wellbeing information event for parents on the evening of 6th March from 6.30-8.30pm. We wanted to provide an opportunity for parents to meet representatives of the support agencies we work with and to find out more about the services they provide. We will have colleagues from MIND Jersey, CAMHS Early Intervention team, the YES project, Skills Jersey and our own counsellors will also attend. We hope that this will be a relaxed and informal event and one that we plan to develop further and provide in the first term of the new academic year.
Parenting Workshops
Many parenting support workshops are aimed at children and young people who are younger than our students. However, I am pleased to see that now and again the age range includes our students. If you know anyone who would be interested, please pass the following information on. It will be popular and historically places go quickly. I have a flyer if anyone would like me to forward it by email.
The Children and Families Hub in partnership with CAMHS will be delivering a 4-week programme for parents and carers of children and young people up to the age of 18. Based on the science of brain development the group will explore where behaviour comes from and what the behaviour might be trying to communicate, moving towards helping children to manage behaviour with compassion.
Who is it for?

When and where is it happening?
Thursday, 29 February- Thursday, 21 March 4:00-5:30pm at The Bridge Child and Family Centre, Le Geyt.
