Highlands College is Full of Spiders! 🕷️

At this time of year, campus is teeming with spider activity!

Our Animal Management students have been making the most of the misty mornings, spotting webs and identifying spider families as part of their Ecology and Conservation studies.

With resources from The Jersey Biodiversity Centre, students practiced sweep net surveying and web identification – vital skills for wildlife research. Observing these changes year-round helps them gain deeper insights into local habitats and ecosystems. 🌍🍃
