Soroptimists Funding
Reminder for the Soroptimist meet and greet – 12pm on Wednesday 13 December in the Petit Academy.
Each year the ladies from Soroptimists International donate Funding to the Highlands Foundation to support female students on STEM courses (Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
Previous funding has gone towards purchasing tool boxes and equipment for aspiring electricians and plumbers, IT equipment and software has been purchased for students in DEC! and computing. If you think this funding could benefit a student you know, there will be a meet and greet with Soroptimist Jersey representatives at 12pm on Wednesday 13thDecember in the petit academy. Please encourage them to come along as we hope to showcase the benefits this scheme can provide to their careers.
