On Monday we held an event to celebrate the success of our Government of Jersey funded social recovery classes.
The maths, English and ESOL classes were offered free of charge and were designed to support lifelong learning within the community. Some learners have reported being better able to assist their children with school-work, others now feel more confident to make social and professional connections.
The event brought together learners as well as College tutors to celebrate the incredibly positive impact that these classes have had on the island’s community.
Congratulations to the English and maths department, and Jo Gueno in particular, for such a successful programme and event.
