Rising Star Nomination
One of our former Business Students, Connor MacDonald, has been shortlisted for the Jersey Finance shining star award in the Digital category.
Julie Zimmerman: ‘Connor was enrolled on the Level 3 Extended Business Diploma in Business at Highlands College 2 years ago. Despite facing various challenges outside of College and occasionally displaying disruptive behaviour in class, I would often remind him how much I admired him for his natural business acumen and his tenacity and determination to succeed. When it came to work placements in the second year of the course, he was determined to get a place at Ernst and Young. I remember going to visit him there and he was so enthused by the whole experience. I am so proud of his success and what a great ambassador he is for Highlands. He has come through the business course and absolutely shone in his career in such a short time. Please can I encourage you to vote for him, he truly deserves this.’
