Principal’s Update
Congratulations to everyone for the outcome of the pan-island peer review. Every colleague makes a personal contribution to this through every interaction we have with learners. Heather Audoire led the 3-day review, supported by Lee Johnson and backed-up by your professionalism.
We are a good college with outstanding features – but of course so much more than this descriptor can say!
Colleagues joined us from across government and businesses at the WomenEd event last week. Thank you to Michaela and the team for the lovely catering.
Social Work Day was celebrated here on the 21st with colleagues and partners who work in that world from all sectors in Jersey. The event was a great success. Another example of colleagues partnering, taking the lead and creating change.
This week we have the Inclusion conference for CYPES held in the Great Hall. Something which struck me – inclusive establishments see “the purpose of education as social justice through opportunity and better attainment”. This is what we believe and do!
The Hair and Beauty Show has changed this year with inter-island engagement.

On Friday, we will all join together to celebrate the end of term for students and academic staff and say farewell to some colleagues, all leavers have local celebrations as well. Refreshments will be provided. I look forward to seeing you there.
