Highlands College Retains Leading Parent Partnership Award
.
Highlands College has once again been recognised with the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA), reaffirming our ongoing commitment to working closely with parents and carers to support student achievement.
To achieve this reaccreditation, the college provided evidence across key areas including induction and transition processes, college-to-home communications, ease of access to information, inclusivity, campus environment, pastoral and academic support, SEN liaison, and opportunities for parent feedback. Interviews with parents, staff, students and governors highlighted Highlands’ dedication to strong parental engagement.
Eileen Buicke-Kelly says:
“Being re-awarded the LPPA is a proud moment for Highlands College. It reaffirms our unwavering commitment to building strong, inclusive partnerships with parents and carers—ensuring every student is supported to thrive.”
This renewed accreditation, valid for another three years, celebrates the positive difference this approach makes for our learners. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this successful renewal.
