Mindful Eating 101 — A Beginner’s Guide
Mindful eating is an approach that encourages individuals to develop a deeper awareness of their relationship with food, fostering a more intentional and thoughtful way of consuming meals. In today’s fast-paced world, where distractions abound and eating often becomes a hurried activity, mindful eating serves as a powerful antidote, inviting us to savour each bite and listen to our body’s hunger cues.
This article explores the principles of mindful eating, its benefits for both physical health and emotional well-being, and practical tips to incorporate this practice into daily life. By embracing mindful eating, we can cultivate a greater appreciation for our meals and enhance our overall dining experience.

Globle Competition
Weekly competition to encourage connection between us all.
Are you a master of the world? Do you like pointless competitions? Would you like to hold a trophy for a week (I know a whole week!!!) Then the Highlands Globle Competition is for you.
‘How do I get involved’ I hear cry out from all the offices in Turner building?
It is simples, just log on to globle-game.com, (it’s like Wordle for people who can’t spell) every day and try and guess where the mystery country is. Then send me the amount of guesses it took you to find the said mystery country each day, and I will add you to the master calculating system (excel spreadsheet). The winner will then get to hold the Global Trophy for one week.
There are but a few rules that even the C.O.P. can follow. Be honest, it is but a smidgin of fun. I will not be checking your workings out. No typing into Google (other search engines are available), which countries are 2314 km from Mexico. I will provide a link to an interactive map of the world that you can zoom in and out of. ‘Too kind guys, too kind.’ And finally, like the Nobel Peace Prize, although the trophy can be held by a dangerous toddler, the honour always, and will always, remain with the winner of the award.
Here is the link below to practice this weekend. The main competition starts on Monday. If you are interested in playing, stick a thumbs up emoji, and I will add you to a Teams group chat.
And in the words of those great wordsmiths, PJ (the other one) & Duncan….Let’s get ready to Rumble.
