Thank you to the team at Medicann for presenting an interesting, challenging, and thoughtful session to our staff.
Gary Whipp presented the current laws around medicinal cannabis, access avenues, and its use in the workplace. Dr. Steffan Osbelt then moved on to the benefits of CBD, focusing on specific conditions such as sleep, stress, and pain. Clinical case studies were discussed, with some excellent examples of success and the lives that it has changed.
At the end, there were some thought provoking questions from the floor, especially around the myths surrounding its use and the costs involved.
Everybody who attended the talk was entered into a draw for a DNA Kit. The kit is designed to analyse which strains and doses work best for an individual to achieve their desired health outcomes.
