Visit from Lycee des Metiers Montbareil de GuinGamp

Students from Lycee des Metiers Montbareil de GuinGamp (hair and beauty college in France) are also visiting this week. They too have an action packed few days planned with our students from Hair & Beauty.

Their visit to Jersey will involve a range of activities including,

• masterclasses with Jersey Honey and Jersey Lavender about their skincare ranges and cosmetology processes,
• an interactive talk from Jersey Heritage,
• demonstrations that range from nail art to hot stone massages and skin needling,
• a beauty insight day at Voisins Department Store where they will be treated to demonstrations by MAC, Kiehl’s and Dermatologica
• an afternoon of recreating the 1940’s look
• visits to local salons
• and finally, a visit to the Jersey War Tunnels

After observing the hair and beauty competition yesterday with Guernsey College of Further Education they are keen to be involved next year.
