Enrichment for Baseroom users
Learning Support had their first enrichment outing this year, what a laugh it was with the students… Paintballing activity at Creepy Valley, with the bruises to prove it! For many of our students, activities like this are out of their comfort zone, however we pushed through and come together as a team.

Disability History Month 2023
Disability History Month adheres to the Social Model of Disability, in which the barriers of attitude, environment, and organization cause most of the disablism that people face, rather than the impairment itself.

Impairment is defined as the loss or limitation of physical, mental, or sensory function on a long-term or permanent basis.

Disablement is defined as the loss or limitation of opportunities to take part in the normal life of the community on an equal level with others due to physical and social barriers.
