Say hi to Stephen: stephen.robinson@highlands.ac.uk
Stephen Robinson has now joined the college on a permanent basis to oversee the LRC. Stephen is a qualified librarian and a fellow of Advance HE.
He joins us from Jersey Library, where he was the Children and Families Team Lead.
Before moving back to the Island in 2019, Stephen worked at higher education institutions in the UK.
The LRC not only provides resources for staff and students, but it now also offers information and study skills sessions to support students in their studies.
Over the past year, Stephen has delivered study skills sessions to students across the college, which have focused on developing effective referencing skills and information search strategies using the college’s academic e-resources.
Stephen is keen to hear from colleagues about how the LRC can further support curriculum areas.
If you have any book requests for the next academic year, please let Stephen know before the end of term so they can be ordered and ready for the start of term.
LRC opening hours from September 2024
