Jersey Library Visit

This week, our Future Skills students visited Jersey Library to explore study spaces, resources, and practice their referencing skills. The library team gave us a full tour of the facilities, including quiet study areas and breakout rooms.

We also explored course-specific resources for the Animal Management course, which now covers four sections of the library and includes a local wildlife area.

The visit concluded with a referencing scavenger hunt, where students practiced citations using books related to their course. It was a refreshing change for a tutorial session and a great reminder of alternative study spaces, with the library open until 21:00 on weekdays and 17:30 on Fridays and Saturdays.
