Taking another step on our inclusion journey…

We are looking forward to our next visit from Sarah Le Good; Inclusion specialist.

She will be joining the college week beginning 4 November 2024 for 2 days.

This visit will focus on the experience of learners on campus and in the classroom.

Teaching staff will receive a placeholder in their diaries for learning walks and Sarah will be observing HIC activity through an inclusion lens on Monday, 4 November 2024 9:30am – 10: 30am.

Learning walks will include a member of the Learning Support team and Teaching and Learning team and the emphasis will be on the Ordinarily available guidance and use of “5 a day strategies”.

There will be an opportunity for teaching staff to meet with Sarah and receive feedback on their learning walk on either of the dates/times as below. Just pop along.

Monday, 4 November 2024 – 4:30pm – 5:00pm in N110
or
Tuesday, 5 November 2024 – 3:45pm – 4:30pm in N110

Sarah will also be meeting with student focus groups and parents/carers to gain insight into their experiences and feedback.
