Important Events Process Update
Hi all,Hope you all had a great half term. As many of you know, our events Coordinator Kineta left us last week for pastures new in the UK.
We wish her well on her adventure, she’ll be sorely missed in the Marketing and Events team!Just to take the opportunity update you all on the events team, currently we are looking to fill the coordinator post so I will be wearing both hats for the time being.
Because of this I wanted to re-share our process, please take a look through the below as its massively important to make sure your events can continue without issue!
Internal Events Booking FormThe internal events booking form is for those looking to book events in the college. This could be a simple parents’ evening in the hall or it could be a larger college wide event that you’d like to run. We are only a small department, and the college is a huge place so we may not be able assist with every event but at the very least if we know about it we can avoid clashes or to advise you on ways to help your events run smoothly. We do ask though, if you are booking your own rooms for events and activities, please book the room in EBS.The form itself is pretty self-explanatory please just take your time and read the questions, giving us as much detail as possible to be sure nothing gets missed.
It’s also worth mentioning that this form can also be used for external parties wanting to book an event at the college. Therefore, if you do work with any Corporate partners, Government departments or Charities that may be after a venue to host an event, feel free to take the events booking form link and send it over to them!Event CalendarThe event calendar is the home for your ‘what’s on’ at the college. It shows a monthly breakdown of what’s going on from, internal events for staff and students to venue hire bookings.
The goal of this is to try and keep everyone informed on what is happening throughout the college so if you are running an event that the events team are not involved in, but you still think people need to know, we do still require an event booking form to be completed.
