Get Ready to Cheer, it’s Graduation Week 🎓

Join us in celebrating our graduates from University College Jersey this Friday!

With a new venue, new parade route and some new faces at the event, it’s sure to be a great day to celebrate our graduates and promote the fantastic work that happens up in UCJ.

If you have RSVP’d to attend the ceremony, the doors will open at the Freedom Centre from 11am for an 11:30 commencement of the ceremony.

Following the ceremony (approx. 1pm), we will begin our traditional ‘Graduates Parade’ through town. Heading along Bath Street, through West’s Centre and onto Queen Street, pausing for a photo at the Royal Square before we end with a cap throw in Liberation Square!  

We will continue celebrating in the Drift at the Royal Yacht from 2pm where drinks, music and fun photo opportunities can be enjoyed!

Get Involved

If you have a free calendar between 9am and 3pm this Friday, why not volunteer to help out? We have several jobs that we need help with, from marshalling the parade to helping make sure the students’ academic dress is perfect for them to step on stage for their big day!

👨‍🎓 09:00 – Robing and individual photos
🎓 11:00 – Guests arrive at the Freedom Centre
🎉 11:30 – Ceremony commences
📸 13:00 – Group photo at Millennium Park
🚶 13:15 – Graduation Parade through St Helier
📸 13:45 – Group photo outside The Royal Yacht
🍸 14:00 – Reception at The Royal Yacht with drinks and canapés
