🔹Get Involved in JOA’s 2026 Community Work Projects 🌍
The JOA Community Work Projects
Open to all Jersey residents over 18, these projects offer practical building experiences that directly enhance local infrastructure and well-being in host communities. Long-term and JOA-funded, every on-site contribution is part of a bigger, lasting impact.
Alongside making a real difference, participants gain insight into global development, engage with international teams, and develop new skills through collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Launch Event:
Join us at the Royal Yacht on 1 October, 6:00 – 7:30 pm to learn more about the 2026 Community Work Projects.
How it works:
Each autumn, JOA opens applications for the following year’s projects. Islanders are invited to submit an application explaining their motivation to volunteer. Shortlisted applicants attend an interview, and those selected take part in pre-departure training, including workshops on the development sector and the evolving role of volunteering.
