EBS Systems Development Update
The College Systems Development Group meet on a regular basis to assess and prioritise any user development requests for EBS.
This includes any suggestions on how to improve the user experience, data accessibility or systems and processes in onTrack, Central or the BI Dashboard.
In the last 12 months we have successfully implemented over 60 new developments, including bespoke projects, workflows, reports, screen designs and dashboards.
Some of these developments include:
- Apprenticeship Absence Notifications – Automated email daily attendance report to employers
- Apprenticeship performance reports for employers
- Business Intelligence Dashboards
- Careers Portal – School career teacher live access to update student application reference data
- Enrolment confirmation – students able to remotely confirm / decline enrolment.
- Examinations Schedule report – to show details for exams timetabled for any chosen week/s
- Learner Profile report to show key support information into a single document (SEN, MLL, English Proficiency, JPP, Access Arrangements, etc.)
- Maths & English report to show highest grade achieved in M&E and the course / tutor group enrolled onto
- Bulk automation of offers to applicants with a link to accept /decline the offer remotely
A couple of the key projects currently in development include:
- Student Photos for ID cards – Facility for students to upload own photographs with CIS check and approval process.
(This should enable us to produce student ID cards during the summer period ready for the start of term) - Implement the new Pastoral module with improved form entry, reporting and access to information
We are continually looking to develop our systems and improve the user experience, processes, and ease of access to key information in relation to course and student data.
Should you have any specific issues or suggestions then please raise with your development lead; Tony Tyrer (curriculum) or Sharon Ward (Business Support).
Many thanks for your continued support.
