Diabetes Awareness
This month we’re talking diabetes…
To mark its awareness day on 14 November – Learning Support is reminding all our staff of the signs and symptoms.
Toilet – Going for a wee more often.
Thirsty – Non-stop thirst and drinking more than usual.
Tired – Feeling more tired and having less energy than usual.
Thinner – Unexplained weight loss.

If type 1 diabetes is left undiagnosed, it can get really serious, really quickly. But knowing the signs can avoid a medical emergency and save lives.
This awareness campaign is all about helping you spot the four most common signs of type 1 diabetes in both adults and children, and they’re really easy to remember.
You can find out more about the 4Ts at www.diabetes.org.uk/the4Ts.
