Calculator Passport Event with JCG Year 7

On Thursday 18 and Friday 19 January, the Highlands College maths team welcomed Year 7 students from JCG to college for a Calculator Passport Event.

Pupils completed various mathematical challenges and puzzles to gain confidence using their new scientific calculators and gained stamps leading to the issue of their ‘passport’.  Our amazing Level 3 students from Childcare and Animal Management confidently assisted at each table, offering lots of expertise, support and encouragement.
