DEC! Trip to London teaches students about emerging design technologies

Highlands College BTEC/DEC Level 3 Construction students recently visited London to study the city’s architecture.

During their trip, they were hosted by the Sir Robert McAlpine construction company at their impressive site, 1 Broadgate.

This site features a large shopping mall, office blocks, VVIP suites, and fourteen-story buildings.

The students learnt about emerging technologies in design, engineering, and construction and saw first-hand how these innovations are applied in modern construction.
