Afternoon Tea to thank placement providers for ‘on the job’ learning

Last week Health & Social Care students hosted Afternoon Tea at the Highlands Academy Restaurant to say thank you to placement providers who have given them the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the health and social care sector.

The H&SC course offers vital ‘on the job’ learning where students can interact with the community.

Local Care Homes (Les Charrières & St Ewolds), staff from the hospital and day centres, along with Beresford Street Kitchen and Stuart Court joined the students for some tea and cake.
