Digital Safeguarding & Technology Use
This is a follow up to the information shared at the Cross College Meeting on Wednesday 7 January.
As you will now be aware, at the end of last term (December 2025) CYPES updated the Digital Safeguarding and Technology Use Policy.
This policy applies to schools, colleges, youth sites and residential settings, and replaces the previous Online Safety Policy.
It sets out clear expectations, minimum standards and responsibilities for using digital technologies safely and responsibly – helping to create secure online environments for children, young people and staff. The policy is fully aligned with J-KCSIE 2025.
