🔹Unlocking Support: What’s New?

Thank you to everyone who attended the recent Knowledge Café, hosted by the Learning Support team. The Café was a relaxed and friendly drop-in session where staff could connect, have a chat, ask questions, and learn more about the support available for learners. We hope you found it valuable, and we greatly appreciate the insightful feedback we received, which will help shape future events.

Looking ahead, we’re happy to share that we have a packed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) calendar planned for the 2025/26 academic year. Each month, we’ll be focusing on a different topic, offering resources, discussions, and opportunities to deepen understanding across the college. If there’s a subject you’d like us to explore further, please do get in touch with the team.

In other news, we’ve made a small change to our space: the Study Skills Room has moved from N110 to N105. Please update your records accordingly.

Our Key Workers were busy connecting with staff and students during induction week. You should now be aware of who is supporting your learners this year. To ensure they’re fully equipped to assist, we kindly ask that you:

• Add them to your relevant Team channels
• Share any useful teaching materials or resources
• Invite them to meetings where appropriate

The more insight and collaboration we have, the better we can tailor our support to meet student needs effectively.
