Phase One
Phase one (the discovery phase) is well underway. Together with Halo we have hosted user experience workshops with UCJ students, sixth form and parents and carers.
Still to come, we’re meeting with learners in the Baseroom and would like to arrange a session with some adult learners at ACE and Professional – if you can help with the latter please let Jess Tidswell know.
In the run up to Christmas, there will be chance for you to have YOUR SAY. The staff engagement sessions will be held in two formats.
- Invited group workshops: Jess Tidswell will be in touch with an invite for these sessions.
- Drop-in sessions: The drop-ins will be hosted by Rob Moy and Jess Tidswell on Tuesday 10 and Tuesday 17 December, 12-12:45pm in Café Connect.
Halo’s Previous Work
We’ve had a few people ask about websites Halo has worked on, here are a couple are for educational settings and one is for luxury escapes.

.
- Web build, covering UX (user experience), Design & Development for: Aspiration Training
- We completed the UX & Design for: Malvern College
- A very recent project, Halo completed the UX, Design, Content & Development for: Tregulland & Co
What’s Next?

The next phase will involve colleagues from across the college and will focus on gathering course information for all sub-brand areas. This will allow us to have consistency across our course offering on the website.
More information on this will be given to Heads of Departments and Programme Leads – and communicated through the bulletin.
Keeping Up-to-Date
Once we reach the development phase next year, Halo will provide a link to a staging site which can be shared with all staff. This will give you the chance to have a look at how it’s coming together and submit any questions as the process moves along.
