Latest Developments in Inclusion
A message from Desiree…
Thank you to everyone who participated in the various Inclusion visit activities last week. The enthusiasm and recognition of how transformative our inclusive practices and services can be for young people, parents/carers, and staff were truly inspiring.
Since September, college staff have significantly accelerated their inclusive approach, offerings, and experiences. This progress is remarkable, and I am excited to continue our collaborative efforts in this area, building on the excellent practices and intentions you have demonstrated.
Initial feedback from the second visit has highlighted several key areas of focus:
Celebrating our inclusive offerings and practices.
Strategizing with inclusion “Front and Central”.
Embedding Ordinarily Available practices across all college business to transform the college and classroom experience.
In the coming weeks and months, we will establish targeted CPD and Inclusion projects to further develop our inclusive culture and sustain these positive changes and excellent practices.
Best wishes, Desiree
