Sharing Practice on Intergenerational Practice
Yesterday, we hosted a sharing practice session for students, staff and external industry specialists.
Dr. Kay Heslop is an Assistant Professor, and Head of Education at Northumbria University and was visiting in her capacity as the Childhood Studies Degree external examiner for Plymouth University. Kay shared with us her research on intergenerational practice.
During the session, attendees were asked to build their own ‘intergenerational village’ with key words written on the bottom of each figure. The words were takeaway points from the talk and it was representative of intergenerational working.
