Ministerial update from CYPES

Following the election of Ministers for the new Council of Ministers, senior CYPES officers have shared briefings today with new Ministers. We met with Connétable Richard Vibert, elected yesterday as Minister for Children and Education, and with Deputy Rob Ward, currently Assistant Minister with responsibility for Education, and the Chief Minister’s nominee to be Minister for Education, for when his proposition goes to the States of Jersey to split the Ministerial portfolio into separate roles of Minister for Children, and Minister for Education. Further briefings are planned to support the new Ministers.
