The 25th Soup Kitchen Event was held at the Royal Square this week.
Well done to Spear Dena, Andre Carcel, Skye Romeril (not pictured) and Mickael Pestana from Year 1 Diploma in Culinary Arts as they prepared this year’s offering along with Dom Farrell: Lightly Spiced Jersey Root Vegetable Soup.
Congratulations as well go to Lisa Lawless as this was her 10th time participating and supervising the student group from the Hair and Beauty Academy at the event, who were serving the soup.
We are so thrilled to support the Shelter Trust and give back to our community. This amazing event raised £20,000 and a combination of local hotels, restaurants and schools made a total of 37 delicious winter warming soups!
