For Lecturer job adverts we are no longer using the Teachers application form, which takes the question regarding QTS away.
This will benefit us as we will not have applicants worried that they cannot apply as they do not have the qualification and it will make the process quicker as they will not need to query what they put for this answer.
We will soon be getting access to Procius which is the 3rd party company our government uses to obtain pre-employment checks (DBS, References etc.)
If a hiring manager has someone they are onboarding we will be able to check where they are in the onboarding process, rather than them having to go to People Hub.
The policies team in central government are currently looking at all the policies, if and when they have been updated, we will update them in the ‘Policies’ teams channel.
We will also advise when we have done this so people are aware they have changed. Old policies will still be kept just incase someone is referring to an old one.
Internal job adverts get posted on MyStates which we are aware employees in College do not have access to.
We will upload the internal jobs weekly (if there are any) in the ‘All Staff’ Teams channel and if any further information is required, we can help with this.
