Here we are at the end of another busy and highly successful academic year. What a stimulating Learning Conference, I found the speakers inspirational, and the breakouts offered real takeaways to support us all. To Stuart, Sarah, Mike and Sheila – congratulations on a really positive end to the year.
We will be celebrating over in Nightingale on Friday with food, music and fun. Thank you to all the organisers. Our great caretakers who set up and clear up all the time. Eileen for her creative input and leadership in this and other community events.
The SLT will be in over the holidays and there will always be one of us on site should we be required.
I will say a few words to wish our leavers a fond farewell and look forward to seeing you all at the event so won’t write much now.
I am so proud to work for you and the College. Highlands is so much a part of my DNA that I don’t know where Highlands starts, and I end but suffice to say every year working here is a gift.
Best wishes for a long restful summer. And for Support staff who are in over the summer break, make sure you take time to take a break too!
