6th Form P.R.I.D.E Award Nominations
Final Reminder: Deadline for nominations Thursday 4 May
This year for the Highlands 6th Form awards we’ve changed the way the awards structure to be more inclusive to students from all areas of the college.
This means that we will be asking each department to choose a student to win an award for excellence in their area.
As well as this we also have 5 cross college awards to celebrate those students who have truly lived the college values of Potential, Respect, Imagination, Diversity and Excellence during their time here at Highlands. These Awards will be known as the P.R.I.D.E awards.
We ask that all HODs Submit a student for an award for Excellence in their subject area and nominate a student for at least 3 of the cross-college pride awards.

The P.R.I.D.E of Highlands 6th Form Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday 22nd June 2023 from 10:30 – 11:45 am. During this time, we encourage Departments to host their own student departmental awards presentations within their own areas. We would be happy to supply templates for certificates that you can amend and use as you see fit.
This will be followed by a cross-college celebration in the field called the P.R.I.D.E of Highlands Festival where we will be hosting a a fun and inclusive festival style gathering for all our 6th form students to celebrate their achievements and success during their time here at Highlands.
The Event will include Live music, BBQ food supplied by Café Connect, a photobooth and many other ‘festival favorite’ stalls for students to visit for food and drink on the day!
