Cultivate Jersey: A Celebration of Local Food and Connection
Highlands Academy restaurant hosted Cultivate Connection — an inspiring event bringing together Jersey’s food system changemakers. From farmers and chefs to public health leaders and students, the event was all about sharing ideas, stories and challenges around local produce, sustainability and the future of food on our island.
Guests explored what ‘fills their bucket’ in their roles — from creating experiences and supporting young people to celebrating local and making a difference. It was a room full of energy, optimism and passion for positive change.
We were proud to see our Academy students involved in preparing dishes alongside some of Jersey’s top chefs, highlighting the importance of local skills and sustainable produce.
