Learning Resource Centre
- Repainting of 360 room (Ni 113), and the room to be deep cleaned (including window frames, seat coverings and carpets).
- Door to Ni 115 to be restored to a door and a half to improve wheelchair accessibility to the quiet study area.
- Main N113 room door and far end door, N115 and N116 to be painted in branded colour
Employability and Student Support
- Move office from N105 to 110 and add an additional desk into room N110 – look at TV mounting for N105.

- 2nd floor Male and Female WC refurbishment to modern standards (JPH managing)
- Garage Asphalt Flat Roof Covering Replacement. Provisional programme 16 June – 8 August. (JPH)
- Replacement timber door to fire rated door including replacement glass
- Replacement of all windows in basement printing room to PVCu double glazed due to failed seals allowing water ingress

- Landscaping of outside area in between Media and Art buildings

University Building
- Replacement of 66 no. staircase nosing inserts in white from GF-3rd floor for the Inclusion team
- Porters Lodge – fit out and relocation of caretakers from GF of Turner, including lift lobby redecoration
- Orange painted staircase to paint white

English and Maths
- Replacement of all legacy furniture to align with HIC, carpets, blinds, and redecorate
Computing
- Repurpose TU014 as a coaching and mentoring room
Other
- Student Gents WC, GF – new WC in wet room and removal of shower cubicle (CYPES managing)
Technology Centre
- GF staff shower and WC refurbishment to modern standards, including new sanitary fittings (JPH)
- Completion of fire door replacement project (JPH)

PAT testing across college in August by Micron – please remember to leave equipment out for testing before 11 July 2025
.
The caretakers will be completing various items of maintenance across the college, including power washing, tarmac and paving repairs, installing a ramp to the gazebo, and landscaping amongst others, to ensure it’s looking its best for your return in September!

Other Updates
- PEEPS – please ensure these are reviewed and any put in place prior to the start of the Autumn term for new staff/ students who require one
- Playground – this will be operational from September, pending final discussions on booking requirements
- Ordering of furniture – any requests for furniture must be made by submitting a formal proposal to the Facilities Development Board, which convenes on a quarterly basis. No items of furniture are to be ordered directly by departments.
