Online courses to support you with your students’ needs

Now that you’re settling into the term and starting to get to know your students, you will now be aware that some of them have Health Care Plans (HCPs) listed on EBS.

To help you feel more confident in supporting students with an HCP, there are a range of short online courses available on Connect People, including:

• Children with Epilepsy
• Children with Diabetes
• Children with Allergies and Anaphylaxis
• Children with Asthma

Nicola Greber from the Learning Support Team is in contact with all students who have a Health Care Plan as part of her role in Health Care support. However, if a student lets you know they have a health care condition that isn’t recorded on their file, please complete a referral, and Nicola will follow up.
