Recently, Highlands College has induced a ‘Quiet session’Â to several events, for example the careers and freshers fayre. This has made a positive impact to our neurodiverse community, ensuring participation and enjoyment is experienced.

Les Quennevais Centre holds autism friendly swimming sessions twice a week; Fridays between 11:30 and and 12:30 pm and Sundays between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Have subtle changes to the cinema environment that means people who have sensory differences may have a more positive experience than they would in a traditional cinema setting.

Monday from 3 pm until 5 pm and every Saturday from 5 pm until 7 pm, for a quieter shopping experience. We offer a more sensory-friendly shopping experience where we will be dimming the lights, turning down the music and keeping noises to a minimum to create a gentler, more leisurely shop for all.
