🔹Did You Know?
Only 36% of people in the UK with Coeliac disease are diagnosed.
Some of our students live with this condition, but because the symptoms are often personal and uncomfortable to talk about, they may not tell staff. Here’s what you need to know to support them.
The symptoms of coeliac disease vary from person to person and can range from very mild to severe.
Because of the way that coeliac disease can affect the gut, it’s frequently misdiagnosed as IBS.
