🔹Cooking Up Connections
Students from Lycée Hôtelier College in Dinard visited Jersey for a week and collaborated with our students in a wide range of practical workshops and industry visits.
This is the third year of our cultural exchange programme between Lycée Hôtelier College and Highlands’ Academy of Culinary Arts. After visiting France in April, it was our turn to host and showcase Jersey. Students worked together to create lunch and dinner in the restaurant and took part in a variety of workshops, including visits to local producers, from farms to chocolate making and a coffee roasting factory.
This is such a valuable partnership that not only enhances students’ skills, but more importantly, broadens their horizons, develops friendships, and builds social skills.
